Winter-Spring 2013: Design Student comes to BaaHaus
Cornish College of the Arts student Jessica Araujo has made a number of visits to BaaHaus over the last several months, as she develops and refines a wonderfully imaginative new "campus" for our farm animal sanctuary. Jessica has brought a fresh and innovative perspective to our world of stalls and stables, one that is coherently designed for the comfort of both the animals and the caretakers. Implementing the entire plan is a bit beyond our budget, but looking at some of Jessica's ideas have given the BaaHaus staff some practical and cost-effective ideas that we hope to put into practice. We have enjoyed working with this interior design student because of her drive, artistic sense and ability to organize---something we envy! This was an opportunity we had never dreamed of having.
