	Heather Haines-O'Brian decided to volunteer at BaaHaus in September 2004, not too long after moving to Maury Island (Vashon's little sister island). She has been specializing in llama manure AND giving treats to Eli and Lilly the donkeys. But Heather is anxious to build up her skill set and is now including rabbit sanitary engineering and carrot treats in her repertoire. After just a few short months, she can shovel with the best of them! Heather is also building financial know-how; she works at Starbucks, a company with an interesting way of rewarding its workers who contribute sweat equity to worthy nonprofits. Starbucks matches with monetary donations the hours donated by their employees. And Heather is even planning a Starbucks "We're High on Caffeine" work party visit to BaaHaus in the near future. We're high on Heather!
