Meet the Rabbits

A few of the rabbits at BaaHaus have been surrendered by their owners, but the vast majority are pet rabbits that have been released on Vashon, or the offspring of those feral bunnies.

BaaHaus works with the local community to trap these rabbits in cruelty-free traps, move them to BaaHaus, spay, neuter, inoculate and provide them a full vet exam, then gradually socialize them into a colony of their peers. They have space to hop around, to dig, to socialize with each other or to be alone, as well as a secure house to sleep in at night.
